The Center of BioModular Multi-Scale Systems for Precision Medicine (CBM²) is a national biotechnology center funded by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering.
Our mission is to make a meaningful impact on people’s well-being through the delivery of innovative and fully automated mixed-scale systems to benefit precision medicine and personalized care. We are tasked with designing and manufacturing novel microfluidic and nanofluidic tools for the biomedical community to utilize liquid biopsies for the management of different diseases.
We started this blog with the goal of bringing attention to the importance of precision medicine and explaining key concepts in the field of micro- and nanofluidics. Future posts will explore the definition of liquid biopsy and biomarkers. Stay tuned!
